Pros

benefits but starting to be not significant now

Cons

1960's management and too many chiefs not enough indians, those at top don't want change as they already earn enough and feel their jobs may be under threat if they cannot adapt to change, instead we have to adapt to their backward views and thinking. Hiring of people from other companies has diluted the Partnership principles, eventually we will just be numbers like the rest of the retail industry

Pros

The pay was very competitive, discount was great and the enthusiasm of many staff members was great to see. Felt a lot like a family rather than work colleagues

Cons

I worked there whilst studying at University and was informed that there would be flexibility when it comes to exam times. I informed them of my exam dates months before and shifts I wouldn't be able to work due to the exams and many were still not give to me as days off, I even asked to be unpaid for them. This then led to me having a disciplinary as I was unable to attend a shift due to an exam.
