Pros

Good atmosphere, not too pressurised and understanding workers. Nice clean environment, good part time job with minimum external stress and is good for working up the ladder.

Cons

The shelving can be quite tedious and of course working with he public can also create a small but of stress.

Pros

Was trusted to get on with my own work. Managers were friendly and approachable, often helping out on the shop floor when we were lacking in cover. Felt that my opinion was always heard by someone. Lovely colleagues, still keep in touch with them after leaving. All-round brilliant place to work at.

Cons

Arranging cover for shifts was sometimes difficult - the hours were pretty inflexible but I understood that going in to the job.

Long hours, especially over Christmas.
