Pros

The bonus and the time and a half pay on Sunday's. That is all that's keeping me there right now.

Cons

The management is terrible! They do not listen to you or help you when things get tough (minus 2 out of 12!). This is hard because we need the support. Also many people that work in our store have to have second jobs because the Waitrose wage is a lot less than the other supermarkets. Waitrose isn't as 'partner focused' as they make out.

Pros

Decent bonus and benefits. Can be a good laugh, you can get job satisfaction from empowering others. Easy to move around in.

Cons

Management can be horrendously untrained and unqualified, 15 managers on the same 3 jobs in 2 years because it's so stressful. Embarrassing decisions consistently u-turned and re-uturned. If your looking for pedantic, pampering and unpaid overtime go for it. If you want your hard work to be scrutinised by someone who doesn't know what your doing but can observe what they think are flaws but are actually just part of the job then this is the place for you.
