Pros

Good discount benefits, particularly at John Lewis. Also good discount food available whilst on shift.

Cons

Often felt obliged to work extra hours and bonus only given if you stay on till end of year. Also not very flexible with returning in uni holidays.

Cons

late shifts. upper management was AWFUL. as it was a new store they were setting totally unrealistic sales targets. I felt completely expendable.
