Pros

Relaxed environment with friendly staff. Managers are very approachable, and there doesn't feel like too much hierarchy (at least in the stores). Decent pay compared to supermarkets, and the annual bonus makes a very big difference! It's also a nice open culture in the company.

Cons

For a part time job I can't think of much. Sometimes you can be a bit stuck in one role (e.g. Checkouts), and it might be nice to move around a little.

Pros

Waitrose provide a very friendly and welcoming environment. They clearly respect and appreciate their staff ("partners") and are very rewarding to work for. Brilliant sense of inclusion and willingness to work hard seen by all.

Cons

Can be quite stressful, particularly towards the end of a shift. Working with customers means it can be quite unpredictable and challenging at times.
