Pros

Friendly staff and management generally, job satisfaction, Just and fair treatment of staff is part of the company ethos. Annual bonus linked to company performance. Partnership mentality, One or two mid level managers are a bit unfriendly, but the top managers at the store are very friendly and approachable.

Cons

As with all retailers, pay is not amazing, less that £8 per hour.

Pros

I've had a difficult year with being ill and a fair few losses of people close to me, and they've always been so understanding.

Cons

We're quite understaffed a lot of the time and there's almost a sense of guilt when you can't do any overtime for them.

Pros

Waitrose is a very inclusive company that always looks out for the wellbeing of it's employees. The company has a special way of treating it's staff and in return they perform.

Cons

I have to work Sundays but at least I get time-and-a-half so that makes it all better.
