Pros

Good team, benefits( after 3 months work), good for students or who wants just some extra hours

Cons

VERY DISAPPOINTED EXPERIENCE There's a constant stream of employees. They don't give you extra hours. My contract was reduced from 20 hours to 11.5 hours, and my day shifts were replaced with night shifts( Friday, Saturday). They said it was temporary, but they never gave me my regular working hours back. They offered me a day job at the cafe, but it only lasted less than 5 hours. I only washed dishes and made a few cups of coffee before I refused the job. Additionally, my last salary was reduced by over 100 pounds. It turned out that I had been paid for overtime for the days I had worked. A month later, I managed to get the difference back. The company looks good on the outside, but it's a mess on the inside.

Pros

This come from recently visiting the store. The upward management particularly branch manger is no where to be seen and I they seem to want to fire the long term staff to replace with new under qualified and cheaper staff

Cons

Used to be a great place to work, now everyone in there is worried for their jobs and over worked

Pros

25% staff discount Staff canteen (you have to pay for though) but hot food is nice Pretty environment outside Smoking area is not next to bins like most places do Shop in the warehouse with very cheap products

Cons

Pick rate is the only thing that keeps you employed - is docked if you’re 1 min late to log in (have to cut your break early - pick rate starts as soon as you log In) Loading at 6am-8am & again 12-2pm, exhausting, dirty, weather conditions and target deadlines for vans to leave is inhumane - as you can be paired with lazy men or older people who can’t move fast Managers and warehouse seniors toxic and manipulative (apart from glasses guy) Cleaners are perverted A colleague s a’d me and I was fired the week after Women managers and aspiring managers very negative and aggressive to everyone apart from those who don’t intimidate them Instead of sending you home early when you occasionally (2-3x weekly) finish around 2h earlier, they make you clean crevices of the warehouse and prepare for night shift workers. The shop in the warehouse usually rotten or broken stock, bad quality and not much in there, just stuff they can’t sell. A few times I found worthy deals though
