I have many wonderful colleagues who are warm, friendly, and encouraging on a personal level and dedicated to their jobs as educators.

Cons

The institution is increasingly more concerned with retaining enrollment and increasing graduation rates than with providing quality education to students, at the expense of both faculty and students. Administrators often show contempt and disdain for faculty. Communication is poor. There is little transparency, The workload is nearly unmanageable and negatively impacts student education. It's all very demoralizing.
