Safe job. Rarely fire people. Good benefits. Good people at the company.

Cons

Terrible pay. They will do anything to keep your salary low and the raises are abysmal. I worked there for 10 years and was getting paid significantly less than new employees in the same role even as I performed well. Culture was declining fast while I was there. Internal job postings are often filled before your interview, making it a waste of time. Nepotism/favoritism runs high. After ten years I didn't even get an exit interview when I left.

Friendly coworkers, previously had a flexible hybrid work opportunities

Cons

Extremely behind in technology (outdated computer systems), you won’t get the things you need to get your job done efficiently (updated laptop, multiple monitors of good quality, office supplies etc) There is a new president changing the culture in the company drastically There are not any perks, (ex tuition reimbursement has been taken away, you get a discounted gym membership each year that’s about it) , very inflexible with work life balance needs.

The culture here is toxic under the new leadership. There’s rampant gaslighting, a lack of trust, and work / life balance is horrible. If you prefer a partnership with your employer where you are treated as an asset and given flexibility and support in exchange for providing value, this is not the place for you. If you enjoy power games, are comfortable with duplicity, and lack a conscience, you could do well. The cult / kool-aid / narc vibes are super strong.
