      Happy with my move from healthcare to Walbec!

      Pros

      I wasn't looking for something new when I was first approached about the recruiter position at the Walbec Group. However, as soon as I went in for an interview, I realized quickly that this company was different; they respect and appreciate their employees. It seems like an easy concept but not all companies can deliver on this like the Walbec Group can. They let us know that we are their greatest asset so they invest in our development, in new technologies and in areas that will keep us safe to return to our families each evening. I recommend anyone looking to make a change, to check out the Walbec Group.

      Union company Checks always cleared

      Cons

      It’s not a bad place to work if you have relatives that work or have worked there. If you are hired because of qualifications you will be the scapegoat and are easily expendable. Definitely not a good company to work for if you value your sanity.

      Moving in the wrong direction.

      Decent pay and benifits. Good crew to work with.

      Cons

      Culture and moral have tanked. They spend millions on buying property, businesses and corporate buildings but spend nothing to update their fleet, machinery or shops. One shop was recently shut down due to being deemed unsafe. Shop staff are overworked and expected to work long hours in run down outdated shops. They preach accountability and ethics but run the business without it.
