Pros

The company has a certain commitment to quality that gives it a slight edge against a few competitors. Employees need only provide a submissive posture to keep a job.

Cons

There is no energy within the organization. Nor is it a learning environment. The future of this organization is not exciting. There is no opportunity to be a part of something huge due to a severe lack of trust. Upper management micro-manages most operational and sales activities, giving employees only enough ownership to name a scapegoat if something goes wrong. Employees are simply expected to follow along and get with the program. There are many rules that don't make sense. The company does not have a performance review process. The impression this leaves with the employee is that my boss — and, therefore, the company — isn’t really interested in my long-term future here. There are absolutely zero discussions about career development...therefore, if you’re talented enough, why stay? Company direction is provided by the owner's shifting whims. Upper management finds opposing voices to their strategies as an annoyance and a sign that someone’s not a team player. Company strategy is decided by a bunch of “yes” people saying the same things to each other.

Pros

There is potential in the company if the leadership knew how to lead a company. It is a company with many jobs with varying pay points and can provide a job to many veterans.

Cons

The company tries to compare itself to the largest company in the industry and they are not in the same league at all. They still have a small market/micromanage mentality and don't allow people a lot smarter than them offer ideas. The top management of the company is not to be trusted, I have been in many closed door meetings where it seems like employees only advance their careers by trashing other employees. There is no sense of "team", people just look out for themselves and stab others in the back.

Pros

You can always get hours at busy locations, especially with the high turnover rate

Cons

You WILL be asked to work shifts extending way past 40 hours a week. In the months I worked there, I averaged about 65 hours a week.
