Pros

Walden Security provides good benefits and the websites to view your training and pay statements are good tools. Walden Security human resources and benefits personnel are readily available and receptive.

Cons

Walden Security has to improve in dealing with the Washington DC district, since they are different and operate 24/7, 365 days a year. There has to be better incentives for SSO's working weekends and holidays. A majority of the courthouses in the United States operate Monday-Friday, and are off on Saturday, Sunday and Holidays. A majority of the SSO's are retired law enforcement officers and do not want to work Saturday, Sunday or Holidays. On another note Walden Security needs to be more consistent with their discipline of employees, some minor violations end up with termination and more egregious violations nothing is done.

Pros

value the professional relationships established with Walden Staff. I have nothing but positive thoughts of each individual. I value the fact that everyone is always willing to help me to reach a positive ending. As a bonus, I have felt extremely valued when Mr. Walden visits and sits with us as a group and tell the most hilarious stories. It truly gives me a sense of belonging.

Cons

Ensure that all forms are writable and user friendly. Some forms never open and writable forms with lines are difficult to navigate because the lines move and shift.

Pros

I like the job site where I work at But like anybody else, we're behind times when it comes to compensation.. The contract is up for renewal in January. The property management loves us.Only would they be appalled knowing what we get paid.

Cons

Promotion from within. The last manager. She didn't know what the security officers, what we did or how we did it. I've been here 4 years and have yet not even asked if I would consider a management job. Like a field supervisor I'm very capable and knowledgeable. How Walden functions? It seems like if you're a popular security officer.They offer them the position before they even look at other people.I jump on that in a heartbeat.If asked, I have so much to give walden, but i'm being withheld because i'm not in the click.
