Pros

Salary(not bad, but soon to be capped), benefits, great people. If you're committed to moving up, they will help you. Every location I've worked at has had superior store management. There is strong sense of community.

Cons

It's retail...enough said. Rude customers, consistent and useless changes by corporate. They want you to do more work for the same pay.

Pros

Ask questions, you can only learn what you want to learn. There are lots of opportunities to grow from within, to a point. Be willing to work with the needs of the company to get ahead. Need to have at least some education to move ahead and be patient.

Cons

The new restructuring is asking a lot for shift leads and asst. managers to take on. ASM and Store Management is stagnant in the district and will bottle-neck promotion for awhile. Too much of the benefits are being stripped away. It'll be a good company years from now but watching erode in my 5 yrs is too much and its time for me to move on for personal growth.
