Shift Lead

Pros

Discount, decent insurance, pharmacy training

Cons

Expect you to do the job of 3 people but paid for 1. No shift coverage at night. The store managers and assistant store managers think they're above doing the hard work that the shift leads and non management do.

Pros

Perfect place if you want absolutely nothing to change, are afraid to use updated technologies, and have no ambitions to move up within an organization.

Cons

You don’t get to spend nearly enough time away from your family and friends.

Pros

the ability to switch locations, work at any walgreens if you are needed there.

Cons

so busy there is no time for breaks really, you have to eat on the run if you can manage. used to be not as bad as CVS but employees in the pharmacy as a whole are not treated well at all
