Pros

Patients remember when Walgreens did care

Cons

New management is more concerned with metrics and rushing out orders than they are accuracy or patient care. They want every store to “feel the same” for out of towners, but do nothing for the local community. District Managers (Who now we’re all former store managers) have no business being “over” pharmacists, who are more highly educated and suited for the job than they are. However Walgreens found a way to save more money at the expense of patients and pharmacists. Pharmacists are given unlimited number of tasks and expected to complete them while caring for patients, by someone who has no idea what the pharmacist is even doing.

Pros

Very flexible hours. Less traffic than most large grocery/convenience retailers.

Cons

Corporate is incredibly greedy and tries to really stretch workers to the bone. Since buying out Rite-Aid they lost their money and cut everyone’s hours to make up for it. And when customers started to complain about service going downhill local staff is blamed for it.
