Pros

Employee discounts and perks, the wonderful customers we get to know and see on a regular basis.

Cons

Management is disrespectful to employees. They are given too much power which allows for favors and retaliation. Corporate refuses to listen to employees outside of management. Instead they allow practices to force you to quit.

Pros

Pay/benefits are on par with industry averages. Advanced computer system is helpful. Generally enough tech help to keep stress level reasonable. Most store managers are supportive.

Cons

All of our long term senior management are now gone. The direction the company is headed is all performance/numbers. Mr. Walgreens used to care about his employees and their families. The new management is reducing benefits while asking for higher execution/engagement.
