Pros

Flexible scheduling. If given reasonable notice they'll accommodate you.

Cons

I don't know if this true of all locations. But after you're hired you're informed of the following additional task: Cosmetics Dept is responsible for cleaning the restroom, including the toilet bowels: Photo Dept. is responsible for bringing in the garbage from the parking lots, and mopping the floors, Front register has to vacuum the front of the store.

Pros

Really there are no pros working at Walgreens

Cons

No communication, no organization, no training, no motivation, no room for growth, no security. There 5 or more shift leaders at each store - shift leaders who has not been promote to Assistant Manager or Store Manager level - they all do not want to be promote to the next level of management. Per each shift leader they will leave Walgreens before being promote at Walgreens. Overall Walgreens was the worst mistake I ever made.
