Pros

Good benefits Great Experience for a resume All APASM's become wicklander certified eventually

Cons

Pay is not equal to the hours worked, most stores work the APASM over 50 hours a week You're expected to handle all things in the AP department but depending on the store management team you have, you'll be handling every other department in the store too. I always say "APASM" stands for All Purpose Assistant Store Manager because good luck doing only AP

Pros

Great Pay, Good Vacation Package, Relocation Assistance

Cons

Salary gets overworked, unreasonable expectations, no accountability for attendance related to covid, compensation not worth hours worked, always changing the name of your position and forced to reinterview. No job security even for high performers like myself.
