Pros

Nice hours and the Walmart One app makes it very easy to see your schedule, benefits, request time off or more shifts.

Cons

Overall a very cult-like feel to the way its managed. The company is more fond of treating you like a robot than a human. This is especially bad due to the fact Walmart often has very poorly maintained and rude management. If you aren't a manager, you aren't anything to them.

Pros

They expect you to do a fair day's work. For someone who has had other retail jobs that expected more work for less pay Walmart is a fair employer. The two best perks are if you want to move up you have a chance. The better perk is they put fruit and sweets that they can't sale in the back for the employees to eat.

Cons

It's walmart. It's a corporate giant that has has huge upsides and downsides simply because of it's size. The management is generally nice but some managers feel like they aren't in tune with the lower people. The employee discount isn't as good as you would hope. You have to deal with some of the worst customers in the business because everyone shops at walmart.
