Pros

A 10% discount on general merchandise only. Maybe a better chance in buying the latest hot item that would otherwise be sold out...and you get a small discount. Overall, your co-workers are usually like family.

Cons

The pay is barely over minimum wage. They are not very flexible with your schedule. You can kiss your weekends goodbye. Management is very disrespectful. Your job title doesn't mean anything. They will drag you all over the store and then discipline you for your actual job not being done. Very stressful. And working with the public...need i say more.

Pros

Not much. 10% discount is nice except it doesn't cover food or electronics. Honestly just stay away from this company.

Cons

Management never communicated their goals. If I had a shift where no managers in the grocery area, I had no idea what projects I was supposed to do. Managers never communicate with each other. One will ask you to do one thing then another will come up half an hour later and tell you to do something else. Questioning them on anything just pisses them off. All this time you have to deal with the interesting client base that shops Wal-mart.
