Pros

Excellent opportunity to grow people skills. Offers good training courses on technology and leadership skills frequently.

Cons

Too many people involved in decision making and the company may not be doing enough to retain talent.

Pros

Standard jobs with low minimum amounts of work to do. You only have to work as hard as you want to. Friendly work environment Major room for advancement - seems like there are either department manager, front end manager, or various other manager jobs opened on a monthly basis.

Cons

Low wages based on other retail stores in area. The Walmart I work at is extremely short handed, meaning anyone who can fill out an application gets hired. This causes large amounts of excess training for associates which quit right away due to lack of help, causing an endless cycle. Hiring wages are controled outside of the store on a regional level, and evaluated on a shcedule instead of on an as needed basis.
