Pros

Many store locations can be flexible with college students schedule. Clever associates willing to work anytime of day and have complete open availability can move into management quickly.

Cons

While the company has standards and policies to guide store development, not all stores or managers maintain company standards. A lack of proper training by management leads to a high turn overrate and poor moral.

Pros

I didn't understand the culture of Wal-Mart when I first started, I just thought of it as another job. As time went on and I learned that my management group was concerned with quality and fair treatment, I was shocked. The group that I work with is professional and I am proud to work there and tell other people that I work there

Cons

Wal-Mart is a large company and I am concerned that portions of the company are not run as well as our group.
