Pros

Stable in economic slowdown Fast pace Always something to learn and grow in Sam Walton was a great man

Cons

Since Sam Walton's death marked the demise of a great company founded on the morals and self worth of all. Not a head hunting blame game.

Pros

It was and is still a very good company. The 10% discount used to help especially right before pay day.

Cons

The benifit program, from what I understand, has disappeared. If you are a new hire you must start part time.

Pros

I love the management work schedule. If you work hard, there is room for growth and promotion. I would recommend Walmart to my friends.

Cons

It is a retail industry. The stress and pressures around the holiday season are great. Continual pressure to get the work complete.
