Pros

Good stable company especially in the current economic environment. Provides better that average pay for the industry for the position I have.

Cons

Too many shifts at the top and none of them care about anyone underneath. Once upon a time this company actually cared about their people and now it is all about the dollar. Have you noticed that the name badges no longer say "our people make the difference"? My boss often reminds that I'm I am getting paid "very well" to do my job. They don't realize that money isn't the only factor in a job and in the long run is relatively a small part in job satisfaction.

Pros

3 days on and 3 days off provides much m ore time for family. Lots of opportunities for promotions

Cons

The company is no longer the family business it once was. It is all about the stock price. Managment has lost the leverage to solve problems and issues on their mown. Every thing is about exectuion. " Execute the program or I will replace you with some who will" is the motto

Pros

You have alot of opportunities. The way I always looked at it was where else can you start as a cashier at 19 and end up being an assistant manager at 25- with out finishing college. I started in 1996 making $4.75 an hour and was making $43,000 a year in 2008 when I quit.

Cons

They don't really care about you! In 2008, I was pregnant. I was about 14 weeks along and ended up with bronchitis. I went to the Dr. and he said he wanted me off for a week. I did all the paperwork to be out, however inventory happened to be during this time. My store manager made me call in everyday (even though that was not the policy for a medical leave of absence). Every morning that I called he asked when I was coming back to work and I needed to be there for inventory. I ended up going back to work earlier than my paperwork stated and I held on to the bronchitis for a total of 6 weeks! I was so aggrevated by the situation that I had a hard time getting my love back for the company. My baby was everything to me!
