Pros

Part Time offers flexable hours. Pay was good for part time students. People get along and can be a fun place to work.

Cons

Pay, Pay, Pay. Only assistant managers and above make decent money. Store Managers make over 100k per year. Demanding overtime when needed.

Pros

Wal-Mart works on a scale that no other other company operates on. They move more data in a day than some companies move in a year or more. The same is true for their inventory. Wal-Mart IS a large company but they TRY to keep the small town atmosphere at the Home Office.

Cons

Wal-Mart is large enough that it's almost impossible for it to be a personable company. Their top performers are taken for granted and pay may be competitive for Northwest Arkansas but doesn't even try to compete on the national scale. NWA has the same cost of living as large as Dallas but salaries average much higher in Dallas than in Bentonville.
