Pros

A lot of opportunities to hone your problem solving skills. No boring down time. You can learn at least the basics of many different departments.

Cons

The management team did not support each other, this caused a lot of confusion with the employees. Very little follow through with the upper management, unless there was a surprise visit by the (big wigs). I asked my store manager that constructive criticism was a learning tool when hourly employees got coached, yet it was a bad thing when the management team received it from the district office or higher. It was always an emergency when the corporate office was doing a surprise inspection.

Pros

The work is easy and fun, can handle the customers.

Cons

Come into a mess frequently because they aren't staffed. We would rather have more people working and give up the bonus check. They spread you too thin, and the quality of work is going down. Hard to set mods in one department and keep up a zone and make sure on hands are correct, when you are doing ICS's job logged in under their log in so it doesn't show you doing their work, while at the same time you are the only one watching a service department. Then are pulled to grocery to zone daily, not getting your own departments zoned. It wears you down, and when you finally mess up, they're all over you.
