Pros

Wal mart pays pharmacy techs pretty well compared with other pharmacy chains like cvs, rite aid, or walgreens. Also, their computer system for the pharmacy is good.

Cons

Management shows little respect for it's employees. Pharmacy is treated just like it's any other department in the store, where the customer is always right and you are subordinate to them. The pharmacy is not treated as a professional service provider in any way, shape, or form.

Pros

It's an easy job and as long as you try hard, you can advance very fast. People are usually nice.

Cons

If you don't have open availability, you won't get many hours. There are huge pay differences between associates. Management decisions often clash with each other, leaving you between a rock and a hard place.
