Pros

Steady good paying job. No worries over job security if you do your job and show up when scheduled. Good benefits for family workers. Growth oportunity. Great place to shop for low prices with associate discount of 10%. Great second family atomosphere working enviroinment.

Cons

Always changing company as a whole. Expect more with a lot less seems to be the motto for everything now. Micromanaging on every level down to the dust on the floors. Unfair promotions occur throughout the ranks of all associates. Some of the rudest customers you could ever expect you will encounter at Walmart.

Pros

It's really easy to get hired, work is easy. the people I met were very nice, friendly people, outside of the management.

Cons

Work is very mindless, management is very impersonal and cold hearted. If I wanted to take a day out of work, there was a pretty high chance I would be fired. There was a high turnover, so the management really didn't care who was puching the carriages or checking out customers, as long as they were making some money.

Pros

It is very easy to get a job here. I've seen elderly people to the mentally challenged get jobs here also the very uneducated so its definately an easy job to obtain. As far as room to grow vertically, if you think becoming an assistant manager working 50-60 hours a week but still having a 40 k salary is good, then go for it.

Cons

They will hire you to do a job, train you in other fields, and expect you be a multi-tasker. One day you could be pushing carts and by the afternoon ringing at a register. This is all fine and good, but at least pay for these services and not sound like your doing the employee a favor.
