Pros

very flexible hours for a student. Great work experience for those that don't have any. Direct manager encourages learning and developing your skills.

Cons

Very loosely defined job description. Not exactly what you'll experience in the professional world at a full time job. Upper management doesn't respect student work.

Pros

Easy paycheck and you get to network with other students.

Cons

Management could do a better job helping the mentors. Advisor places a lot of burden on mentors.

Pros

The university is world class and the department is very friendly and the research is cutting edge. I like studying here.

Cons

small town so not many options to chill out. The nearest city Spokane is about 70 miles away.
