      Pros

      Very flexible and informal working environment. Most people working there are pleasant and good co-workers. Lots of social events and networking.

      Cons

      Very low salaries compared to the industry. Very little proactivity or consistency. Your experience will depend on your manager. Some advocate strongly for their employees and others are horrible micomanagers. There is very little room for advancement or growth.

      Pros

      Newer equipment and Management that cares about the drivers. Pay is a little above other local waste companies. management has learned to keep driver hours at or near 50 hours.

      Cons

      wish 401k was a little better. will need to invest in updated communication equipment for drivers and dispatch. wouldn't mind seeing managers on routes with drivers more.
