Yesterday, a helper passed his State CDL test. He has been a Sanford helper for 1year, almost to the date. Extremely dedicated and very loyal employee. As he and I celebrated the news of his passing grade ,he immediately called the most important person in his life, his MOM. She screamed over the phone so loud he had to move the phone away from his ear. This was made possible for this helper by way of Waste Pro Co-heart program. This is one of several similar stories. I love Waste Pro because of the best benefits and the Family approach, our owner and his Son treat the team of several thousand employees here at Waste Pro USA

Cons

Only that we are not in every State of the US but some day we will be, although growing too fast can have its drawbacks.

Pros

There is always something new going on. I like the variety in my day. I am a customer service rep, and I never get bored. I use to work in a call center and every day was the same and so many employees I was one of a big crowd. This is so different I am in a local office and everyone is so friendly. I love the fast pace and I get to think on my toes. I have also learned so much about the garbage business and it is so interesting. I never knew there were so many different types of jobs in the garbage business, Thinking I may try for a dispatch position next year.

Cons

Con is also a plus but a lot of variety in request and service questions so I have to ask for help sometimes. My co workers and boss are nice about teaching me and don't make me feel silly for asking questions. That is a lot more positive than where I use to work,

Pros

Has some very good people working for them. Most of the employees truly care about the jobs they do even without getting the thanks they deserve.

Cons

Management is out of touch with most day to day operations. Mechanical issues delay routes getting finished or even started at times. Nepotism is very visible and ignored by corporate.
