Pros

They compensate for terrible pay and horrible treatment by giving you food sometimes

Cons

Terrible wages. Terrible raises. Endless forced overtime. Incompetent managers that are completely out of touch with their work force. Management treats employees horribly and believes everyone is replaceable with temporary employees. No loyalty to long term employees. Terrible health insurance.

Pros

All of the people I spoke with in HR wanted to be helpful, and were kind and empathetic.

Cons

I had a ROUGH time going through the hiring process, the HR departments at Watts and at Bradley Corporation (their subsidiary I was applying at) seemed to be having a tough time communicating. Watts HR scheduled an interview, I logged in at the correct time and sat in the empty zoom call by myself for 20 minutes before I e-mailed both HR teams. The Watts HR contact was on vacation and the Bradley contact had never even been informed of the interview. We rescheduled. Second attempt I once again sat on an empty zoom call before getting a text asking why I hadn't shown up. I replied that I was currently in the call waiting on them. Something was going on with their IT systems meshing but we eventually figured it out and I had a lovely interview with the CSR manager at Bradley. This lead to an in person interview and a job offer which I happily signed and returned. The next day I put in my two weeks notice at the job I was currently at. Ten days later I got a call from Watts HR apologizing and telling me that they had ultimately decided not to backfill the position they were hiring for, so they needed to rescind the job offer. I was understandably upset as at this point I only had about 2 days left of employment as I had put in my 2 weeks with the understanding that I was going to start on the following Monday after receiving this call. The Watts HR person was very helpful and said he was going to try to see if maybe they could find me a remote position at one of their other offices or maybe offer me some kind of severance so I could have a chance to job hunt without desperately scrambling for unemployment. He said he would call me back in a day or two. Day one he texted saying he was still working on it. Day two: silence. I found out via LinkedIn after trying to get a hold of him for 2 days, that he had been laid off. I messaged the other HR contact I had and she said she would see what she could do, and she confirmed my Watts contact no longer worked there. Several days later I finally got the ultimate response of "Sorry again, but there's nothing we can offer you." Not my favorite employment experience.
