Pros

Intense focus on self-improvement. There is a real belief that for the company to be better that the people have to be better. And they make a huge investment in helping people improve.

Cons

I, along with many others, left because we had no opportunity for advancement in salary or position.

Pros

You'll see a lot of comments on Glassdoor talking about the faulty pay for performance structure. MANAGEMENT HAS HEARD THE COMPLAINTS and Wavetronix no longer follows that pay system. Now it's a simple standard pay system w/ potential for bonuses. The CEO is one of the brightest people in Utah, and really makes an effort to promote the development of the employees as part of the Wavetronix culture. This can be recognized through the valuable learning and development courses taught here including Self-Leadership, Crucial Conversations, Change Anything, Outward Mindset, and 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Most employees I know here and I have found these courses very beneficial. Wavetronix has also invested in the development of many of the employees' individual career goals as well, providing opportunities to become certified in a variety of fields. Wavetronix provides fantastic work-life balance, continues to grow, and maintains a high level of integrity. Job security is very strong as well.

Cons

If you're not interested in taking learning and development courses, Wavetronix isn't the place for you. Also, Wavetronix intentionally pays at the average of the market range. The reason for this is so that people will join Wavetronix because of their interest in the amazing culture, rather than just for the money (because money isn't always correlated with happiness). That being said, if you're just looking for a high-end salary, that's another reason Wavetronix isn't the place for you.

Company in transition

Business Outlook

Pros

Management is not driven by profits, but cares about individuals and their growth. There are lots of opportunities for personal development and growth.

Cons

Wavetronix is a company in transition which can be uncomfortable. I put this as a con, because the company has had an extremely low turnover rate for a long time. As the company is working to prepare itself for the next stage of growth, it has experimented with improving process and changing the way somethings are done which had created discomfort in some. If you have a growth mind-set and care about growth, this is not a con.
