Fun customers is what its all about

Pros

Coworkers and customers made coming in to work every day a joy. Working at a Wawa makes you a part of a customers every day life.

Cons

Micro-management. Checklists. More checklists. They will target and write up one person and not 5 others for the same thing.

Pros

Pay seems to be competitive.

Cons

Dare not think outside the box. Be paid well to do no more than run a shift. Do not expect your ideas to be given credence. They claim to be employee owned, but do not pay bonus to the employees and communicate solely through a monthly poster. Most store managers never have employee meetings. Be prepared to receive documentation over nonsense. Working here was like being a Stepford Wife. Creativity is frowned upon. Stay in your box - do not think outside said box!

Pros

Meeting people everyday, never the same day twice, you can work as a team or do independent work if you need to get away.

Cons

10-12 hours shifts, no breaks, no appreciation. The cost of benefits continues to rise but the level of coverage gets worse and worse.
