Pros

Lots of training, flexibility (for the most part) in taking off, established good relationships.. good place to start because their pay is more than minimum wage (ie: mcdonalds..etc)

Cons

- Drama, associates work harder than their boss,if you dont work you're not paid because it takes time to accumulate PTO.. my personal issue as well was getting ESOP .. I worked from 16 to 23 full time until I was 18 and moving forward I wasnt able to get any of the ESOP because I didn't work fulltime after 21..all that hardwork didn't get benefits or ESOP .

Pros

You are offered a decent part time wage compared to other convenience stores, but don't expect to get paid much more until you are a few steps higher up the management ladder. The company makes it clear and easy what you need to do and where you need to go in order to get promotions, but expect a lot out of their managers. They offer good benefits for those who work a decent amount of hours as well.

Cons

Higher up management implements a lot of rules and regulations with compete disregard for employee opinion. You can walk out of work one day with one thing being a certain way, and come back in the next with it being totally different. Emails are sent on how the store should be arranged and new policies that are being implemented whether you like it or not. Managers come and go, as is required by corporate policies, and you will see many bad managers in training and a few good ones come through. Every manager has the own rules on how things should be done, and no one is really sure on what the actual way to do certain things is.

Pros

Good opportunities for moving up in the company, great training programs

Cons

Bad management, poor work performance is tolerated (at least at my store), constantly adding more and more things to get done that are increasingly impossible, does not pay enough, turnover is high because of the way employees are treated, they expect you to constantly do things for them but never want to help you out when you're sick or need time off
