Growing Privately held-company with many opportunities to advance, Good culture & Company Values, Great Pay .....Many benefits -Great Retirement Plans/ pays for college and advance learning/good health care. The majority of the people that work there are highly talented. Generally speaking the majority of the people have great integrity and live the values of the company.

Cons

24/7 Business that never closes can be highly demanding & draining at times. Wawa strives to be the best (almost to the point of wanting to be Perfect)- another demanding-stressful trait. They expect a lot and drive you to be your best (both a Pro & a con). Hard to maintain work/life balance.

Pros

There are many opportunities, great place to grow, paid for my college education, excellent pay for performance, incredible retirement plans, (401K, profit sharing, stock ownership), privately/employee owned company, great people, strong values based culture, strong organizational leadership, met my spouse at Wawa too!

Cons

Can be overly demanding at times due to being a 24/7 operation, constant drive for perfection overshadows accomplishments at times. Sometimes overreacts to short term dips in the business instead of staying focused on doing what has proven to work over time.

Pros

Great people, good pay, excellent ESOP and 401k (retirement plans) and other perks! I have an excellent manager and consider myself incredibly lucky, so work-life balance is a non-issue and I am generally happy in my position.

Cons

Pay grade system could be better, would be nice to have more opportunities to be promoted. Wawa has a strong culture and values, but depending on who you deal with, you question if they employ the same values that the company preaches.
