Pros

Good pay compare to other companies in the same level

Cons

employee review is fully bias depending on who do you report. Evaluation is not fair for most of the case. If you stay more than year then you will need to meet L2 expectation in order to get L1's meet in the review they will remember only mistakes and forget good things in the review management is not aligned at all. However managers are feel they are fully aligned across the board people may get fire if they ask more questions , however management will say they are encouraging to ask questions people quit there job within 1-2 years on an average there is every less guiding for new hires and often thrown in a project which on one knows much about it within the team. No announcement for team member promotion people especially manager often says you are L2 or L3 and you should do this or that. this is basically discourage people to work I got random reviews 1,2,3,4 for four items which as 4, 3, 3,3 in the prior review. my expectation was 3,2,2,2 with promotion. Bias review forced to find job in much better company.

Pros

Growth opportunities, high-performing employees, ability to make an impact on a growing company Great equity packages, office environment, snack wall, Wayfair discount Constant change [could be a con for some, but I enjoy the fast-paced, ever changing environment]. Expect an org change every 3 months and one that affects your role at least once or twice a year. I'm currently in my 4th role and on my 5th manager. This has absolutely increased my growth opportunities and allowed me to expand my network quickly.

Cons

Expectations around results are growing and the collaboration culture is fading. All of the great people-managers in senior leadership have left in 2020. Decision-making used to rest with all-levels, but now (in ops) you have to run literally everything by the COO. I used to work 40-50 hour weeks and truly enjoy going to work with my colleagues. Now, I'm pulling 60 hours+, get zero recognition, and am constantly asked why I'm not delivering more. Don't get me wrong, I love the problems I'm solving & what I'm working on, but I'm at the point of burn out and miss the old culture.
