The turnover makes sense.

Pros

Great place to work right after college, work hard play hard culture, social teams, make new friends, good name on the resume. Think of it as a bootcamp for your next job. Then leave after a year or two tops, because the company can't and won't compete with any doors that it will open for you.

Cons

Can't hire enough new talent to fill roles in many departments, which only increases the workload and pressure on entry level workers who are already underpaid. Toxic management styles are overlooked as long as business objectives are met. Entry levels are taken for granted and in constant turnover since Wayfair would rather pay the bare minimum than pay competitively to keep seasoned employees on staff. Internal politics have too much weight on leadership in some departments. Work/life balance is great on some teams but terrible on others. It's become notoriously bad in some creative roles.

Pros

I can find nothing aside of the free snacks.

Cons

They hire more people than what they want to keep, with salary much lower than the market. After you get jobs down, they kick you off with the reason of performance under expection. I've seen many people be let go after joining this company for a couple of months.

Pros

Your colleagues. Everyone really tries their best at what they do and will support you along the way.

Cons

Management. They are weak with zero integrity. No leadership qualities to speak of. All yes men doing what they're told by senior management/directors. Wayfair loves to promote a culture of creativity and equality but (from my experience) it is anything but. All this company does is bleed profits by starving hard workers on the ground with meager salaries all in order to keep the shareholders happy. They won't be happy for much longer. Wayfair is a ticking timebomb. No valueable skills worth learning here. No long term career prospects. Revolving door workforce. Don't waste your time. Seriously.
