Good and Bad

Pros

There are some smart, motivated people working there and lots of opportunity to switch teams. Lots of work is being done to correct the technical mistakes of the past.

Cons

Open office plan is terrible. Instead of having enough conference rooms, there are open collaboration areas that people use instead. If you sit near one of those, good luck getting any work done. Snack and food selection is on par with a bootstrapped startup, not a Fortune 500 "tech company".

Pros

Wayfair really does provide great opportunities to grow and help you take the career path that you want. I really enjoy working with my peers.

Cons

Wayfair has a very open culture, and you will constantly hear both positives and negatives about the company from your peers. Negative sentiments without any basis can be toxic and harmful especially to those who are new. I wish this could be addressed more actively and systematically.
