      Same benefits as Alphabet (e.g. healthcare, dental, vision, 401K match, etc.)

      Cons

      Like all of Alphabet's Other Bets, Waymo has no idea how to get where it wants to go.

      - Focus on safety above all else - The smartest group of people working on AV - The only AV company with an active rider-only rideshare program - Great pay, great benefits, great location!

      Alright for a temp job, don't expect anything more.

      Pros

      Neat technology. A shadow of google culture for better or worse.

      Cons

      As a vehicle operator you are somewhat of a second class employee. There are maybe 2% of contractors that move into salaried positions, don't expect that you'll be one of them. By the time I left they were letting contractors go to hire new vehicle operators at lower wages. Also they were reducing the snacks! That used to be a strong point. Come on, Waymo.
