Pros

Great friends, lots of drinking and laughing and fun. The actual offices are nice and well designed. Kegs.

Cons

Management has no idea what they are doing. They're in desperate need of firing and rehiring all C levels, including the CEO. The other cofounder is nice, but is a total pushover and let horrible management ruin his company. It's sad, really. Adam Neumann (CEO) is the most manipulative and deceptive people I've ever had the misfortune of meeting. Each role has very little if any direction, everything changes on a weekly basis, and nobody is praised for good work -- just pushed harder and harder the next time.

Pros

Nice work spaces. Get to meet lots of interesting people.

Cons

Indifferent, unprofessional and dishonest management. Toxic culture of work all the time attitude but with no reward. Good life experience on how not to treat people. All positive reviews below are from HR department don't be fooled. Anyone, other than the founders, who still works here is just waiting for shares to vest.

Pros

When you first start out, things seem really fun - happy hours, community events, supporting entrepreneurs and other community members. Free beer at work. Colleagues are usually nice and friendly when they're not being passive aggressive. Most of the members appreciate the community managers.

Cons

Passive aggressive colleagues, competitive culture instead of a collaborative one. Things behind the scenes are so disorganized, and employees don't feel empowered to change anything that needs fixing - very bureaucratic. The CEO is full of himself and is all talk - seems like the money has gotten to his head. There's a facade of community-building but it's all about filling up the space with people who have bought into the idea that they're going to be hip and cool because they can show off their office to their friends and family. I've heard and seen employees talk about the members behind their backs, and complain about the "customer service" side of things. Hello? That's our job - to help members do what they love.
