Pros

This company wasn’t that bad - it was pretty good actually.

Cons

It had a very workaholic mentality - I didn’t like that.

Pros

the environment is wonderful, mostly thanks to the fantastic relationship with colleagues and manager! hours and workload are very enjoyable, nothing to complain about.

Cons

unfortunately it seems that there are some differences regarding benefits between employees of different continents and countries... too bad for a company so inclusive and caring about every kind of differences!

Pros

- Lots of change - Work with multiple cross functional partners - Exposure to lots of different start-ups - Lots of work with local communities - Unlimited espresso, kombucha, cold brew, and coffee on tap - Quarterly outings with your local team - Great work life balance

Cons

- Growth can be tough after Senior Lead - Once someone leaves a role at WeWork, they often do not backfill the position, meaning no room for growth for those who'd like to move up the ladder - Community employees don't get the flex schedule that HQ, Leasing, and Leadership employees get. Meaning we're in building all day, 5 days a week. Everyone else comes in 3-4 times a week, and typically aren't in all day. - Benefits have declined over the years. We now pay into our health coverage and there is no tiered system to PTO. A day-one-employee gets the same amount of PTO that an employee who has been with the company for years gets - Constant turnover in Corporate Leadership - Our company culture has died down since COVID. We used to meet 3-4 times a year as an LA county employee group. Now, we're lucky if we get to see our peers once a year, if that. - WeWork was a leader in Inclusion and Diversity, having an in-house team who solely worked on I&D work for employees. Nowadays, it's all volunteer based.
