Pros

Great exposure to a wide range of member companies that are involved in a lot of very interesting industries. Sales experience marketing an alternative product that is slowly but surely becoming more mainstream. WeWork is cool to have on your resume because you can really portray your experiences in a lot of different ways and even embellish them as much as you want since the turnover rate prevents anyone from being able to actually corroborate or invalidate them to prospective employers.

Cons

There are really only three ways to advance one's self at WeWork: 1) Be related by blood or via marriage to a high ranking Executive. 2) Date/enter into a relationship with the person making hiring and promotion decisions. This is a seriously rampant problem here and it completely demoralizes other hard working, more deserving team members. 3) Be from Israel, have an Israeli/Hebrew name, be married to someone who does. This is sadly no exaggeration, and this may have improved now that the CEO has stepped aside in what is a long overdue move, but during my time there those employees who shared a similar background with the CEO absolutely got preferential treatment in hiring and promotions. Overall this is a company that checks all the boxes on reasons why people burn out from working in a startup environment. The overall lack of professionalism is a major detriment to the future success of the company structure.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on your time with WeWork. While we are obviously taken aback by some of the statements around our hiring practices, we did want to set the record straight. We value a highly diverse workforce and do not discriminate based on any factors. We've got an incredible team of employees both at HQ and around the world who represent the WeWork name with pride! We're not sure where you heard that Adam stepped down, but we can assure you that he is still very much in charge of growing our incredible company!

Pros

The member companies are inspiring and will encourage you to chase your dreams. You'll be introduced to new programs and ideas

Cons

Please read and believe every other review here. I swear by my grand parents grave that they're all true. I'm a witness. I ran after a few months and now I run my own gig.

Pros

Great friends, lots of drinking and laughing and fun. The actual offices are nice and well designed. Kegs.

Cons

Management has no idea what they are doing. They're in desperate need of firing and rehiring all C levels, including the CEO. The other cofounder is nice, but is a total pushover and let horrible management ruin his company. It's sad, really. Adam Neumann (CEO) is the most manipulative and deceptive people I've ever had the misfortune of meeting. Each role has very little if any direction, everything changes on a weekly basis, and nobody is praised for good work -- just pushed harder and harder the next time.
