big internal mess, lots of turnover, systems never work, lack of communication, constant struggle to get clear objectives, goals, etc.

This is not a good place to work, unless you desperately need a job. I haven't experienced such blatant disregard for employee happiness and safety in all of my career. This is specifically for the Community segment. Employees are treated like glorified servants for the business, when they're actually on the front lines doing everything to make WeWork function in the least bit successfully. There are random barriers for growth, terrible management from people not trained to do the job, and the pandemic revealed WeWork's true colors and attitude towards their employees. Community team members' main task is to ask members again and again to wear masks and comply to health and safety standards. It is degrading and depressing to be put in that position, with upper management giving no support and understanding besides halfhearted "gratitude" when they feel like it. WeWork is in the process of changing it's whole business model, and Community teams are left to scramble and pick up the pieces, daily dealing with rude, ridiculous individuals, and, at worst, putting their lives on the line to literally sit at a desk doing nothing for 9 hours a day. WeWork can not sustain its business model with how it currently treats its employees, and, honestly, the members as well. I hope they figure something out, but I'm glad I'm no longer there to have to wait and see.
