Too many changes

Pros

Unlimited PTO and flexibility of my schedule

Cons

The CRO is making so many changes that is resulting in people leaving or wanting to leave. It feels like every week a new change is made with no regard for how it affects the employees or the customers. Working with healthcare customers experiencing extreme hardships because of reimbursement rates is difficult but the changes being made are making things worse for them not better. We express our concerns during quarterly NPS surverys and things don’t get addressed even with the commenter on here stating it’s being addressed. They skip by addressing these concerns on our company stand ups and just talk about things like awardco (which is a joke in itself. It’s so hard to even get an monetary rewards from it) Pay is below market value for what people in my position make at other companies. They don’t seem to care about retaining employees. Promotions don’t happen within my department, even for loyal and amazing employees. Bonuses get cut. And they screwed people over when we were all suppose to get a 3% raise but didn’t give it to everyone (even those who were said to be qualified on the announcement email and then they back tracked and claimed not) Anyways, a lot needs to improve to get people to want to stay. webpt doesn’t seem like a company you can stay with long term and grow with

Pros

The relief you feel when you turn your equipment in.

Cons

"Culture" to WebPT is sending out worthless WebPT tshirts every month that go straight to the Goodwill pile. Maybe take some of that money you're spending and actually use it to pay your employees what they are worth? Management is running this company into the ground. They don't listen to input, and all they care about is the bottom line. WebPT is in healthcare, and therefore they have a unique responsibility to be a PARTNER for its clients and do right by them. Unfortunately, this company no longer cares about the small private PT clinics that made WebPT into what it is in the first place. Terrible hiring decisions outside the industry for management positions has killed moral. Pay is nowhere near what it should be. Prepare to be insulted by your base salary. If you're in sales and don't hit your (illogically high) quota every month, you will likely have some bills go unpaid. Micromanagement is rampant. The recent positive reviews are damage control and it's incredibly obvious. Every last non-manager co-worker I had was unhappy and looking to leave. This is unfortunately not an exaggeration. The mass exodus over the last 6 months is not random but management just pretends there is nothing wrong. Save your sanity and look elsewhere. You can make way more at another company without the overwhelming stress that comes with working here. WebPT is not the place to grow in your career. This is the worst run company I have ever worked for and I am so happy to be out.

We are disappointed to hear that you had a negative outlook on the organization and leadership. Being that you worked with the company for over 4 years, you saw the organization through many phases of change, including our growth from a startup mindset to an industry leader and innovator. Our newest leaders are looking ahead to the future to evaluate processes and workflows, including those that affect both our Members and our WebPTers. We strive to balance work experience, market value and internal equity. As the market changes, WebPT continues to analyze compensation models to stay competitive. WebPT is committed to strengthening the organization as we continue to grow, including evaluating performance metrics and standards that align with our vision and mission, as well as continuing to live by our core values.
