Toxic culture

Pros

Challenging projects, remote work, "flexible" (sort of) hours

Cons

No departmental communication, possible shady practices, toxic atmosphere. They fired me halfway through my promised probational period because someone there refused to work with me. People will straight up YELL at you while you're still trying to learn. A lot of tolerance for anti-LGBTQIA+ jokes and attitudes. And they will tell you at first their culture is the total opposite.

Pros

You can work from home full time and the PTO is good.

Cons

I have worked at two major companies and this was by far one of the worst. It started off great however, after about 6 months things started to go downhill. It is very hard to move up in the company as I worked in the same position for over a year and applied to multiple other positions within the company but, was turned away because of office politics. In order to move around in the company you have to have up to three internal recommendations. When I reached out for recommendations from peers they all said no which just told me that others in the company do not like to see people advance. I am in no way a bad worker and this job made me feel like I was not doing enough even though I was being over worked everyday. Although you can work from home, it isn't worth it. Managers from all over the company reach out to you on IM the second you walk away from the computer for more than a few minutes(As I would only get up for short bathroom breaks). No one knows how to effectively communicate within as every-time a message was received everything was very accusatory as if you aren't doing your job even though our productivity reports told the managers otherwise. The customers are extremely hostile and belligerent and the mangers do not do anything to address the situations as they expect you to reach out to non-managing employees to assist with escalated situations. Forget communicating with internal employees to find out information in regards to cases that everyone works on because no one will answer or provide you with information needed to solve a case for a customer. When reaching out to give other co-workers tips to improve overall customer experiences when something was not done correctly co workers would write angry messages via IM instead of politely accepting the information provided so the same mistakes are not repeated. Overall I would never recommend anyone to work here as the stress this job brought on was not healthy. There are way more Cons than Pros.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Our customer solutions team is built around providing our customers with a positive experience when they have questions on products, shipping, and more! While we are focused on providing great customer service to anyone who calls in, we also work to provide our employees with both a safe and supportive environment whether working from home or in the office. We appreciate when employees want to grow within our company and we would encourage any current employee to approach their manager with concerns or requests. Pros

Free lunch. Some coworkers were great (not all).

Cons

Management is awful. No further growth opportunities in remote locations. It's a call center job, that's it. Unless you're in PA you aren't getting any more opportunities. Also, benefits are AWFUL. Good luck paying so much out of pocket for health care. Absolutely terrible benefits- I had to pay out nearly $350 for getting the flu one year out of pocket.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear what your impressions were like during your time with our company. There are several factors that influence the cost of care, such as the type of health plan that was elected during enrollment, the facility that was utilized, and the services that were provided.
