Pros

Colleagues were helpful when I asked questions.

Cons

1. Management creates immense pressure on employees and makes them feel undervalued, like they are replaceable or insignificant. 2.Excessive criticism and micromanagement regarding minor updates while reporting bugs. 3.Unrealistic expectations for new hires, especially in the first month. 4.High turnover rate; many employees last only a month due to poor management. 5.Salary discrepancies; promised amount differs from the actual pay based on subjective opinions of performance.

Pros

The company offers a comprehensive employee training; team building activities; professional development opportunities.

Cons

The role places a heavy emphasis on meeting unrealistic performance targets, often prioritizing quantity over the quality of customer interactions. While the department conducts quality checks, the focus on volume can limit opportunities for meaningful customer engagement. Advancement within the department can be challenging, particularly for those who don’t consistently excel in meeting these high expectations.

Pros

I got to work from home, and the pay was really good. This was only reason I kept the job for so long.

Cons

- they advertise growth opportunities but you will not ever get them unless you are a able to mesh and be part of the “clique” that is the upper management group at this company. - management is awful. They promote very young inexperienced people to tough management positions, where they have to manage a large team alone. They cannot handle it. If you’re unlucky like I was, you will get a manager that is stressed and has an unprofessional attitude towards you because you don’t put up with micromanaging! - the company boasts about this “culture” where they force very fake and disingenuous positivity. They force you to base all of your interactions with your coworkers off of a personality test that segregates you into 1 of 4 categories. DiSC is the name of it, look it up! They force this “culture” stuff, and then they judge you based off of your ability to basically fit into that. If you don’t fit, you will be singled out and it will affect you mentally because they will mention it on your mid year AND annual review. I had to buy gifts for coworkers, bake cookies, socialize with people who weren’t even on my team in order to “fit in” BUT ALSO all of your time must be dedicated to working?? Oh, It will affect your raise % as well. If you help someone on your team, or do something for the “culture” make sure you email your manager about this thing that you did so it gets documented and you get brownie points! It’s similar to a cult honestly. - in addition to “fitting into the culture” you must be able to hit ridiculously unattainable metrics each DAY. You are expected to “hold yourself accountable” and hit “100% workload” and then communicate to your massive team why you can’t hit 100%, none of them can hit that % either. And we are all fighting over grabbing emails to hit workload out of one inbox of customer contacts. Almost 200 employees in my department when I worked there and we were all grasping at straws to hit workload % because there WAS NO WORK. - it’s not enough to just do your job, fit into the “culture, and also hit these unacceptable targets.. you ALSO have to be a product and website expert and know every single detail and change that happens every week no matter what! OR ELSE the QA team will somehow pull the one tiniest mistake you make out of the 100+ customer interactions you had that week. But they tell you the QA process is completely randomly selected interactions. Lies. - horrible communication or clarity from upper management. after 3 years, I was laid off suddenly in the middle of my work day. Because I was making a mistake for “months” but instead of bringing it up to me the first time they noticed, they suddenly after 3 months decided that day they wanted to fire me. My termination letter stated “lack of work.” And then my letter from HR that I got in the mail a week later said I was let go due to “excessive absences” which was a complete LIE. I always utilized my PTO and submitted PTO requests in a timely manner. So I still do not know why I was fired. I had old coworkers call me later after they got fired as well for the most insane reasons. I regret ever working here, it wasted so much of my time, effort, and mental energy all for me to just be cast aside like I meant nothing to my team. Do not work here. They do not care about you and all of the positive vibes are fake & forced to trap you in.
