Was a dream job, but the thing about dreams is that you have to wake up eventually.
Pros
This was a dream job for approximately three months. Great hiring experience, great onboarding, easing into work so I could learn the systems. I got to see the impact of my role right away. Great people, at least when I worked here. Best team I ever worked with, in fact. Brilliant minds who came together to work at a company that HAD values.
Cons
Everything is entirely ego-driven. They fired all of the female directors but one on the same day. Lay-offs every 3-5 weeks the entirety of the time I worked there. They changed the mission statement and fired the policy department. They slashed nearly 30% of our PTO (10 days) after using "re-up Fridays" as a gimmick for hiring for over a year. They slashed parental leave for everyone except for birthing parents, which they still cut. The stock is worthless, rendering a large part of salary moot. Rejecting candidates for petty reasons. Unclear job functions. No chance of mentorship or growth, despite repeated promises.
