Pros

My property was nice and I had my own space. The pay was good for my first job out of college. Benefits. Flexible schedule. They promote from within.

Cons

They already know who they want to be their property managers. No matter how hard you work if you have the "look" then you will stay put as a leasing agent forever. No commission on sales. High turnover.

Pros

The p/t pay is above average, but it is to compensate having to work nearly every weekend, both days. Nice properties, and corporate folks are great.

Cons

If you enjoy working every weekend, this is the job for you. No structured breaks, showing properties in the rain, last minute folks who want to walk a property after an 8 hour day, somewhat unprofessional property managers - gossipy.
