Pros

Great platform to learn multinational extreme politics. Company is growing so there is access to participate in interesting large scale projects. Experience the results of applying Lean principles (to everything). Top management has vision but risk aversion mines execution. Weir name still captures some interesting smart people into their staff.

Cons

Aggressive management breaks employees into submission, Toxic Culture ("Weir way"), Ethics in the region not aligned to group written standards, Not really a multicultural workplace, High turnover - not a place to make a career if you are not under someone wing. No interference/protection of employees from HR.

Pros

Company has good wages and benefits. There are a wide variety of jobs in the "system".

Cons

workload is mostly with non-salaried employees. Process to effect changes is cumbersome. Every aspect of the business in driven by the "company process" and customer/vendor considerations are secondary.
